Celebrating the Building's History

  • Previously serving as the State of Montana's Old Liquor Warehouse and then the State's print and mail processing center, the project was designed to pay respect to the historic structure originally constructed in the 1930's.

  • The brick and stamped concrete columns were left intact, also embracing the markings from its warehouse days.

  • The celebration of the building's history was important architecturally and speaks true to the playful edge of SMA's culture.

This is SMA.

  • Following the welcoming reception and conference area, the open studio opens to adjoining offices and the kitchen and scrum area to foster a collaborative, family spirit among our team.

  • Our team is full of wonderful cooks as well as people who just like to eat! Did you know SMA has a staff cookbook?

Bright + Flexible

  • With accents of lime green, wood walls, glass office-fronts, and exposed concrete, the interior is comfortable, bright and flexible providing a creative, inspiring place for folks to work.
