Providing Space for Patients’ Needs

  • In 2012, the PureView Health Center received a grant to renovate and expand their facilities in hopes of increasing the number of patients served by the clinic. SMA teamed with Bjerke Architects on the renovation and addition.


  • All departments were redesigned and relocated for optimal connection to the exterior and new entry.

Expanding in More Ways Than One

  • In addition, the oldest portion of the building was demolished and rebuilt with a basement and second floor, adding much needed square footage to the clinic. With these changes, the center can accept 3,000 additional medical patients as well as 1,500 additional dental patients.


  • This renovation took place while the clinic continued to see patients. Careful coordination was required in order to keep the building operational throughout construction.
