BlueCross BlueShield of Montana has provided healthcare to Montanans for over 80 years and continues to serve our great state.
Early visioning established that the building would be representative of Montana’s people, places, and values, and encourage wellness and healthy lifestyle choices.
A three-story, wood veneer panel installation at the central stair highlights the employees and core values of BCBS of MT using text and photography to inspire those who work there.
Authentically Montana
Photography and art from Montana are displayed throughout the building in addition to graphic installations highlighting BCBS of MT’s history, community involvement, events, and programs.
A unique opportunity presented itself with the branding and design for the building’s food venue, Café 406.
Inspiring Wellness
The annual Governor’s Cup, founded by BCBS of MT in 1974, holds a place in Montana’s running past and continues to draw runners from across the state and country. A living timeline tells the story of its historic past.
The race is BCBS of MT’s brand awareness event, so incorporating graphics into the building is not only a great opportunity for branding, but also a destination within the building that tells the Gov Cup story for staff and visitors.
