SMA's core values are centered around our motto, "design. different." We approach design with a client-focused mindset, which results in a different end product that serves end user for many years..
Spelling in our motto is important. The two periods became an important feature to incorporate into the logo.
Our Little Slice of Something Special
When designing a brand for ourselves, we had to approach the process with the same mindset as we would another client. What makes us different? Unique? Special?
Several resounding qualities that we identified included that we love what we do and have fun doing it. Our team and client culture is special.
Rounding one corner in the SMA box was that 'little slice of something special'.
More than Just Architecture
SMA has evolved since we started in 1981. While our core focus is architecture, we also offer robust interior design services, FF&E (furniture, fixture and equipment) procurement, and graphics and branding. Our name new incorporates all of those services in "SMA Architecture + Design". -
