Supporting Kids and Their Families in the Flathead Valley
Providence Home is a residential setting that is designed to support Intermountain’s children who need help navigating mental, behavioral, and emotional issues.
Located just north of Flathead Lake, Intermountain’s 75 acres of agricultural land was master planned for current and future needs. The design for the facility was primarily inspired by its agricultural context and the needs of those it serves.
A Home-Like Setting
Like the cottages of Intermountain’s Helena Campus, Providence Home features nine bedrooms (with flexibility for roommates for a total of twelve children), kitchen, living, and dining room spaces.
A conference room, therapy space, and coordinator office are also included in the project with a separate entrance for family, staff, and Intermountain stakeholders.
Outdoor Amenities
An attached heated garage houses vehicles, recreational equipment, and provides indoor activity space for residents and staff.
Providence Home will soon be enhanced with an outdoor play area as well. Franchini Park will host an accessible bike path, a basketball court, green lawn area, and playground equipment for those needing care through Intermountain.
